Terms and Conditions

 

By joining the Cruise Miles™ scheme you agree to the following terms and conditions.  Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them.

1. “Cruise Miles™, we, us or our,” means Reader Offers Limited.

2.  Only one Cruise Miles™ membership is allowed per household.

3. Earning Cruise Miles™

3.1    Cruise Miles™ are earned as follows: 1 Cruise Miles per £1 spent with Reader Offers Ltd for any new bookings after the start of the clients membership, unless otherwise stated in a promotion.

3.2    Cruise Miles™ can be earned on new cruise bookings made through Reader Offers Ltd after the start of the clients membership and will be allocated to the Cruise Miles membership holder only.

4. Redeeming your Cruise Miles™

4.1    Cruise Miles redemption value is 1p per Cruise Mile.

4.2    Cruise Miles can only be redeemed against the total value of new cruise bookings made through Reader Offers after the start of the client's membership, or against new cruise bookings with cruise line partners of Reader Offers Ltd - please contact the Cruise Miles Manager for further details of our cruise line partners. You must notify the sales consultant at the time of booking if you would like to redeem your Cruise Miles against that booking. When your booking is confirmed, a formal contract will be formed between you and us, or you and one of our cruise line partners or other supplier. Full terms and conditions will be applicable to your booking.

4.3    Cruise Miles will only be redeemed on ‘booked onboard’ bookings with our cruise line partners for new cruise bookings when they are officially transferred to Reader Offers Ltd.

4.4    Cruise Miles may not be redeemed onboard any cruise line.

4.5    Cruise Miles cannot be earned on past cruise bookings made with Reader Offers Ltd prior to the start of the clients Cruise Miles membership.

4.6    Cruise Miles cannot be redeemed against deposits, balance payments, upgrades, advance registrations, or any other additional amount related to existing cruise bookings through Reader Offers Ltd.

4.7    Cruise Miles cannot be redeemed against deposits, balance payments, advance registrations or onboard items on any new bookings made through Reader Offers Ltd.

4.8    Cruise Miles cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other discount or discount voucher issued by Reader Offers Ltd, Cruise Miles or any Cruise Line.

4.9    Cruise Miles cannot be exchanged for any monetary value other than against the total value of a new cruise booking with Reader Offers Ltd.

4.10   Redeemed Cruise Miles are non refundable and non transferrable in the event of a cancellation, and cannot be used again.   However, if a cruise is cancelled on which Cruise Miles were earned, the earned Cruise Miles will not be deducted from the members Cruise Miles balance.

4.11   Cruise Miles are non transferrable to third parties unless confirmed by the Cruise Miles Manager

4.12   Cruise Miles remains the owner of all Cruise Miles and they remain our property at all times.

5. Termination or amendment of the scheme

5.1    Members can ‘opt out’ and cancel their Cruise Miles membership at any time by contacting the Cruise Miles Manager.  You may be permitted to transfer your Cruise Miles balance to another member, but this is at the absolute discretion of the Cruise Miles Manager, whose decision is final.

5.2    Cruise Miles reserves the right to terminate the Cruise Miles scheme or to change these terms and conditions after giving reasonable notice to members.

5.3    Cruise Miles reserves the right to add additional Cruise Miles members to the scheme at any time without prior consent required by the Cruise Miles members.

5.4    Cruise Miles may end any Cruise Miles member’s membership at any time without notice if we reasonably believe that the member has acted in a way that harms the scheme. These actions include: illegal or fraudulent activities; hostile, abusive or aggressive behaviour towards staff; knowingly providing us with false or misleading information, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

5.5    Cruise Miles reserve the right to amend the Cruise Miles scheme, including the value of the Cruise Miles when redeemed and the number of Cruise Miles awarded for each £1 spent at any time. However we will always give members reasonable notice.

5.6    The ‘expiry date’ of Cruise Miles may be amended at any time upon reasonable notice.

5.7    Cruise Miles reserve the right to add or remove additional reward partners at any time. Further terms and conditions will apply to all bookings made with our reward partners.

5.8    Cruise Miles benefits are listed in the Cruise Miles information packs and Cruise Miles reserve the right to amend these benefits at anytime upon reasonable notice.

6. Data protection

6.1    Cruise Miles promise not to pass on member’s details to any third parties without consent being obtained.  Please see the privacy policy on our website for full information about data protection.

7. Your Cruise Miles Account

7.1    Cruise Miles balances will be updated daily via an automated system.

7.2    If Cruise Miles members do not agree with their Cruise Miles balance they must contact the Cruise Miles Manager for investigation. The Cruise Miles Manager’s decision is final.

8. Our liability

8.1    Cruise Miles do not accept any liability in relation to bookings made using Cruise Miles.  Any such bookings will be subject to the full terms and conditions of the relevant tour operator, cruise line partner or other supplier. Please refer to those terms and conditions at the time of booking.

8.2    Cruise Miles cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised spending of your Cruise Miles balance. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information relating to your Cruise Miles account is securely stored.

9. Force Majeure

9.1    The failure of Cruise Miles to comply with the terms and conditions because of an act of God, war, fire, riot, terrorism, earthquake, actions of government or any other force majeure event shall not be deemed a breach of the Cruise Miles terms and conditions.

10. Jurisdiction

10.1The law of England and Wales applies to these terms and conditions, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in the event of a dispute.

THE READER OFFERS LTD CRUISE MILES SCHEME IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH CRUISEMILES.COM OR CRUISEVOUCHER. ONLY CRUISE MILES AWARDED BY READER OFFERS Ltd (UK) CAN BE REDEEMED AGAINST CRUISE BOOKINGS WITH READER OFFERS Ltd.
